In October 2010, subsequent to winning a Gift/News Concessions Contract at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), The Hudson Group (Hudson) included Palazzo Concessions as an equity partner in the Hudson-Magic Johnson Enterprises (MJE)-Concourse Ventures (CV), LLC joint venture. The joint venture, including Palazzo Concessions, owns the Gift/News Concession for the 21 retail stores in Terminals 4, 5, 7 and 8 within LAX, and 4 retail stores in Burbank. The partnership with The Hudson Group has helped the company begin to realize its vision to own and operate retail concessions nationwide.
In April 2012, Palazzo Concessions was included on the HG-LAX TBIT, LLC Joint Venture as an ACDBE. The joint venture won a contract from Westfield, LAX’s chosen Terminal Commercial Manager (TCM), to build-out and run concessions in 19 retail stores in the new Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT). The same group was also awarded a retail concession in LAX’s Terminal 6 subsequent to the TBIT award.
In 2015, Palazzo Concessions was awarded the retail concessions package for Bob Hope Airport (BUR) in partnership with the Hudson Group. Palazzo was also awarded a contract to operate two Starbucks stores in San Francisco International Airport (SFO) in partnership with HMS Host.
Palazzo Concessions continues to forge relationships with airfield managers and prime concessionaires across the nation. Our long-term strategy is to pursue contracts in other markets across the country. To that end, we have expanded our Duty Paid and Duty Free ACDBE certification to include Food and Beverage, Parking Lot and Garage Management.
